Colonsay Gin – Cait Sith
With the “Colonsay Gin – Cait Sith” from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, more precisely from the Scottish island of Colonsay, Eileen and Fin have created a wonderful Old Tom Gin.
True to the motto. “Old Tom is dead, then I must be queen”, said the Cait Sith {Caught Shee}.
Old Tom Gin is said to have about as many myths and stories as the Cait Sith. A legendary spectral cat that roamed the Scottish Highlands and Islands, mysteriously bringing with it either curse or blessing.
This Old Tom is a sweet gin. It gets a stunning flavour from the notes of vanilla, orange and pink grapefruit.
The gin is sensational neat on ice and a slice of pink grapefruit. In combination with a premium tonic, it is a wonderful summer drink, but a Mediterranean tonic also fits perfectly.
